John Forbes Nash

John Forbes Nash was born June 13, 1928 in Bluefield, West Virginia.  Is an American mathematician who received the economy Nobel Prize. When he was kid he always played alone and was an egocentric guy.  

His father was an electrical engineer and his mother, Margaret Virginia Martin had been a schoolteacher before she married.  He had a younger sister, Martha, born November 16, 1930.

Nash won a scholarship and in June, 1945 he enrolled in the Carnegie Mellon University, there started with the mathematics. Three years later went to Princeton University, (Albert Einstein and John Von Neumann studied there) to increase his studies. In the recommendation letter put: “This man is a genius”

Nash in this University created his equilibrium theory.

He was married with Alicia Lardé one of his students. One year later Nash discovered that has schizophrenia and entered in a hospital, He had live with hi hallucinations the rest of his life.

There is a movie of the life of Nash; it calls “A Beautiful Mind”.

Life is beautiful

This Easter’s holidays I have watched a film that my history’s teacher Enric recommended me, “La vida es Bella” in English “Life is beautiful”. This movie is wonderful, tells a very sad and hard story and this film arrives to your heart. I love this movie; it goes about the Second Mundial War and I think that is a very interesting theme for write.

The director of the film is Roberto Benigni and is also the principal actor, and the true is that I love him and I love the way that he act in his movies. In the film, I amaze the courage and happiness of his character because despite every worst thing that happens in his life with the war he gets the best of his smiles in all moment. “The life is beautiful” tells the story about a man with his son in a Nazi’s extermination camp. The man hides his son the hard reality telling him that all is a game.

In my opinion the Second Mundial War was the most terrible war in the history. I can’t understand how an only one man almost gets exterminates a race, the Jewish race. I don’t understand how can be so much evil and cruelty in the head of some humans.       

THE FAMOUS CRISIS

Now in the newspapers just you can find are articles talking about crisis so I decided
comment a little bit the Spanish crisis.

In this moment Spain suffer a high economic crisis. When a country is in crisis increase
unemployment, in Spain there is a lot of lack of work, reduce the consumption, a lot of
business have to close and the banks haven’t got money and the families have got a
lot of problems to pay their basic outlay. Why is Spain in crisis? In my opinion Spain is
in crisis because politics corrupts just want money for them and don’t matter the rest
of Spanish people and don’t think highly of their responsibility in the government.
They are selfish and avaricious politics and they take the opportunity to use the public
money, our money, for spend in their personal things. All country talks about our crisis.
Everybody is very anger. The most that get us indignant is know that the politics rob
us and we have to pay, the citizen, with the unfair and difficult cuts of the Popular
Political Party. There are a lot of people that talk about crisis too but to give support
to the president saying that he is doing a good job. This is not my opinion. I think that
the president has to steal people that have a lot of and make easy to people that don’t
have anything and I think too that people cash
more are the people that have to pay more.

Original Version Project

I went with my grup to the Yelmo Cinema to see Skyfall in Original Version. The titol of the movie  is Skyfall and the director is Sam Mendes.

The film is an adventure of 007 agent.  James Bond has to save his boss of different dangerous threats and this time he puts his life in danger again.

- Personal Opinion:  

The film was very good was very good and so distracted. The actors are so good and we enjoyed it a lot.

- Process: The meeting to see the movie was very fun but we had some problems to make the prezi, finally we divide the work and we do it.

- Conclusion: We think the group work and see a English film its great but the next time we should organize.

Dear Louise:

I am Carol, your Spanish student. I’m so excited for the exchange. I really wanted go to Berlin because I love this city. I want to see a lot of things, the wall, the museums, the street … I’m sure that we will be really good together. With this exchange I want to learn more English and culture of Germany. This exchange is not my first exchange, the last year I did with France and Germany and I think that is a great experience. I’m going to tell you things about me, my city and my family four you meet me better. I’m 15 years old; I live in Valencia in the city center in a floor with my family: my parents. My Brother Rolan is older than me, he is 23 years old and he lives in the same building but in other house. Two weeks ago I had a pet, a cat, but she fall in sick and she died, I miss her a lot. My house has got two floors, in the first there are the hall, kitchen, living room, computer room and a little bathroom, in the second floor there are three rooms, two for me and one for my parents and there are two bathrooms too. About me, I’m a person so happy and funny and a little bit nervous, but just sometimes. I love Italian food and take photos, I love photography. I live volleyball too and listening music.

Carnival 013

Hello, I’m Carol. In the last week my School celebrated the carnival party. The party was very good and so funny. My class decided goes to the Lord of the Kings and Mar and I wanted to go of dragon. We prepared the costume one week ago the party. The costume has got the wings to fly, the old T-shirt with rope, the black shorts and the brown boots. I have had a really good time. My class and I prepared a show with a funny song to show of the rest of the school. I Hope they enjoyed it but the most important is if we enjoyed it and I think so. My favorite costume was of Paula Segura and María Aparicio, they went of bird and the costume was so beautiful. The party’s day in my school was really good, in the first hour we prepared the last things of our costume and we make up, after we did the shows and finally we ate. This Carnival was our last Carnival in the school because this is our last year so this is a little bit sad.

Happy New Year

This year my friends and I were together in New Year party. We dinner in Marina and Mireia’s home, we were nine girls. Someone take some food of her house to everybody and we dinner a lot of things: Pizza, Chicken, Potatoes, and Sausages. When we finish we did some photos and we went to de “Plaza del Ayuntamiento” to eat the grapes, It was very funny but the boys in the night are too observes… After that we returned and we dance, sing and we did crazy things. I had a really good time with them, I love them. I would like the next year be like this or better with my friends. 

Christmas Eve

My Christmas Eve is always in my oncle house. We are a big family.
This year we dinner filling egg, some cheese, croquettes, chicken and more things...
After dinner Papa Noel arrives home and give us all the presents.
Papa Noel this year bring me a lot of things, camera, notebook, lamp
and money to buy a phone. When Papa Noel goes the family start sing and dance and
is very funny. I love it.

This story is a very important and famous film. Is a wonderfull love story.

Is about a man, Rick Blaine who live in Casablanca, a city, because he runs away of the war. He works in his Restaurant and one day arrives Ilsa, his old love and they fall in love again.

PERSONAL OPINION:

Is a very good book and a very good film, I want to see it. I love romantic stories and this one is so great. The level is the same that I usually read but this time it was more difficult for me to read. I recommended to every body that like love stories.

 If my home were afire I would save a little things: My camera, because I love take photos and inside her I have got a lot of photos of different moments. My phone, of course, I can’t live without him I need him to talk with my friends and call and my phone isn’t nothing If I haven’t got my headphones to listen music, very important for me. Other things that I would take if my home were afire would be my hair iron and my shoes but this last two things aren’t very important.

MY PERFECT LIFE AND HOUSE

If I could have a perfect house would be in The Angels, in USA, I love the Unit States and I love California so my perfect house has to be in front of the beach for all mornings wake up with the see in the window, this would be ideal. Three floors would be perfect with a very nice bedrooms and a spacious living room, the kitchen very big too . Two or three bathrooms and all house with a furniture so moderns. My garden with a lot of plants and space to do barbecue or dinners with friends and a terrace with a hammock to sleep after have lunch. Something superb would be a floor very big like a disco, with a bar , space for dance and put music to prepare party all weekend because my perfect life would be without problems economics, I would like have my stable job: designer or psychologist, with a perfect family and a lot of friends. I would like live being always young and never stop enjoy life.

Summer Book

The book that I had read is Classic Detective Stories, this book has some storis of diferents authors, my fovourite detective story of this book is The Oracle of the Dog of Gilbert Keith Chesterton.

The story is about a detective, his name is Father brow that one day a good friend tell him that a man has been killed but the mistery is that the man was alone and lived alone in his house in the camp so anybody could see anything  and just the only one witness is the dog of the man.

I love this story because is a mistery story but has a point of humor so good, I think that this story is the most original of all because the others are with the normal detective with the normal women and this things and the oracle of the dog is similar but this punt original and with a litle bit of humor is that makes this story special so I recomened to everybody.

The principal charactter are the Father Down, the detective. This author has got more stories with this character.

About the author, Gilbert Keith Chesterton: First became famous as a journalist. He also wrote novels and poetry. Chesterno’s best know works are:

The man who was Thursday and The Innocence of Father brown.
